past weekend, the "Days of Distance", was a Long Line meeting in Graz. For us, the event started only once motto true with a 5-hour drive away.
On Friday evening we reached the Stube Berger lake and pitched our tents.
on Saturday was then immediately given full throttle and the morning was spent with the margins of a 231m long slackline. Around noon, we were able to after we had reached a voltage of about 21 kN start with the commission trials. It took about 5 could undergo tests until I have the Line, which cost me almost 20 minutes!
I was overjoyed, for it was the longest slackline I could go through until now and we thought at the time but also that it was a world record. The old world record of Michi Michi Kemeter Aschaber and was at 217 m and that I had exceeded by 14 meters. What we then found out on Sunday was a severe shock. The guys from Landcruising had to on Friday commit a 306.8 m long slackline could, but this only publish on Sunday. At this point, congratulations to Damian and Stephen and of course to Sebastian for his only barely lost the commission! However, we must mention here a fair way, that the Land Cruiser a whole new technology, namely its own in-band were available, which the Begehnung such a line allowed the first place!
remains so my line at least 231m, the longest so far has run through standard (polyester) Slack Line in the world!
Also Congratulations to cleaning, which failed narrowly and zumindestfür the 200m mark was broken on the 231 m band!
