Old: Admissions 1959-1968
Very often I am not a child and teenager went to the movies. If a cinema decency, then I bought myself also like the related program of the Progress-film distribution, it cost only 10 cents. Unfortunately I did not then at each visit to the cinema a program booklet purchased, so that my scanning of old program books must remain incomplete at the time I visited movies. So today some old film programs from 1959-1968!
"Last Chance" (1959) is certainly not a dazzling work of art film, but I liked the movie, this is because of the environment in the southern summer sunny Italy, which I was hitherto unknown.
"The Witches of Salem" (1959) impressed me a lot and opened my eyes at a young age against bondage puritanical Christianity, which is so widespread not only in the U.S. but also in German Protestantism and evangelical groups we find today.
Yes and the "dream Revue" (1960), as I did as a 9 year old boys, the main character Walter Haas more than good. Today I have to smile, that alone had raised the cover of the film program with Walter Haas skating costume with me back then erotic desires.
the movie "The bald man band" (1963) I found at that time mighty exciting. Actually, should lead a propaganda film of the GDR, the young people in mind while a departure from the standards would lead socialist. So I have the black leather jackets of the skinheads was great and wished me so a leather jacket. This "Lederoljacken", also in black, were then among young people absolutely, certainly not with the faithful FDJnicks line or even in the SED rabble.
"Flipper" (1965), I already knew her from the television series of the West, but to see the movie in the cinema was already great. Dolphins are very emotional people are still very close.
"The War of the Buttons", 1965 to see in the cinema of the GDR, and in 1962 the "Prix Jean Vigo "excellent - a great film! This film is a tribute to the only freedom. Pity he is now so rare to see in television.
In "Honey Moon 67" (see 1968) announces itself does, however, very short period of liberation from the shackles of authoritarian social structures - an English love story, the life in our middle-class stuffiness of the SED regime had to be young well received.
1968 I was watching at the cinema the film "The Heroes of Kummerow and their funny pranks" on. Yes, yes, the Ehm Welk, from which the book is a very large Writer and of course I had read some of his books before the movie visit. The film is not only funny, but shows fine on basic problems of society, shows where the oppressors of freedom to look for this in reference to the structures of a village. If the actor Paul Dahlke, who plays the village priest, is a very likeable, then the evil role of the evangelical church as part of the social suppression system and a lobby of the establishment of the filmgoers not hidden. will expose for the illiberal attitude of church people the scene as the pastor's daughter with a young Gram Bauer caught naked in the lake from the pastor and that full Horror at this "immorality" is. Still revealing, as to the anti-social attitude of the church, the scene is when the pastor of the small arms Häusler humility preached, as if a poor man would have to be particularly submissive, an attitude which prevails still in the church, one runs too happy to welfare policy of dispersal crumbs from the table of the rich to the poor instead of poverty to fight so far by the disenfranchised and exploited be strong to defend themselves against unjust and anti-social orders.
